A book is like a friend. We understand the world and life, or even observe ourselves through texts, and have a deep realization of oneself that we are not alone. PMQ invites different people from design and culture sectors to recommend a book, so that you can enrich yourselves as book therapy.
Why would you recommend this book?
Billy Chan: When life is running out of oxygen, books become a medium for distraction from the world.
People, food and space constitute the basics of life, but basics are often easily overlooked. Everyone has different interpretations on how to live comfortably. This book explains how space affects the connotation of life through natural and man-made environments; it also explores how food connects the relationship between tradition and the future; through dialogues between people in the creative industry, readers can be inspired in aspirations of life. "People and people", "People and space", "Space and food" can all construct dialogues.
“Dialogues”
Author: FRAMA
Frama has a unique sense of design in terms of balancing. The integration of simple geometry and natural materials add values to life. Through the eyes of "Dialogues", one can learn about another aesthetic of life.
