The SS19 collection is inspired by a Chinese folk, Grain in Ear. We have three steps of Chinese folk, which is “Jing Zhe”, “Han Lu”, “Mang Zhong”. This is the third time we use Chinese folk to be our theme. “Mang Zhong” indicates the coming of summer. “Mang” refers to the harvest of the ramie plants such as wheat and “Zhong” refers to the season of sowing of cereal crops. The arrival of “Mang Zhong” indicates that farmers have started a busy field life.

This collection, Loom Loop tried to raise concern on solar terms in modern city life. The mango and pomegranate being applied in print design help to show a picture of “Manh Zhong”. The animals help to show the vitality in summer, in which the Lucky Cat is the designer’s childhood design. The combination of their own design with modern buildings and the patterns such as mango and pomegranates create a unique personal style. The color palette with, pink and yellow is match with the theme “Mang Zhong”. Blue is representing the color of the sky and the sea. Those color is an mixture of summer and vitality. Loom Loop favors both the all in one look in the same print and the mixing of the prints.

Loom Loop emphasis on sustainability. Eco-ink are being applied via digital print to create unique pattern for the collection, which can create a unique style. The use of the most luxury canton silk adds fluidity to the otherwise clean lines and structured silhouette.
