The distinctive sound of the jingle bell is no stranger to anyone, especially during winter times. It was centuries ago, European countries started attaching sleigh bells onto harnesses of sleigh horses to warn off pedestrians by sound, which was especially efficient in winter times when the ground was covered by thick snow. Jingle bells were also developed into a form of percussion instruments, with their bright tone along with its connotation with the winter, the sound of jingle bell has almost become an unofficial symbol that represents Christmas.

Obellery will be holding a silver sleigh bell workshop. You will learn to construct a sleigh bell starting from a plain silver sheet. Which could be used as an accessory or attached to a self-made silver bangle. In the process, you will get a taste of traditional silver smithing skills such as piercing, filing, forging, annealing, and more.
