The beginner’s class is catered for people who wanted to learn shoemaking in a traditional sense without the use of heavy machinery. We had combined traditional methods with modern materials and new techniques to create a very basic method of shoemaking, which is not taught anywhere else in Hong Kong. These methods are invented so that students could bring these methods back home so that they could make shoes themselves without the burden of investing in heavy machinery.
