Our advance shoe making workshops focuses on the utmost traditional shoe making techniques from the 18th century on 2 very classic styles – Oxford and Derby. Since during the 18th century there are no machineries to assist in manufacturing the shoes, most of the shoe making techniques are made by hand with very basic tools.

Here in this workshop you will also learn the 2 very classic soling techniques “BLAKE STITCH” also known as Single Sole Stitching & “GOOD YEAR WELTING” also known as Double Sole Stitching.

This is a very technical workshop, whereby you will be guided through the many steps of constructing the shoes from the uppers to the soles using traditional shoe making techniques. You will also learn about shoe making tools, how to maintain them and how to sharpen them.

After finishing this workshop, you will be well equipped with shoe making techniques for the uppers and soles and be able to make a pair of wearable shoes for yourself and others.
