Waka Artisans is honoured to announce the solo exhibition featuring the works of Shinsaku Nakazono in Hong Kong. The exhibition features Shinsaku Nakazono’s recent ceramic works and will run through 7th July 2019.
In the past few years, Nakazono-san has gained huge popularity in the Japanese pottery scene for his wonderfully neutral, yet stunning pieces. The combination of conventional shapes with beautifully varied glazing makes each piece entirely unique. His style has been spotted by many chefs and restaurants alike for its ability to accentuate the food that is being served. As a result, he has featured in countless food and pottery magazines, and has been adopted by multiple chefs.
Since Shinsaku Nakazono’s first exhibition in Waka Artisans two years ago, we have only been able to showcase a few of his pieces as he is in such high demand. This will be the only opportunity to see a whole range of Nakazono-san’s works again and he will be here during the first few days, so put these dates in your diaries!
Opening
To celebrate the opening of Shinsaku Nakazono Solo Exhibition, we will be hosting a drinks party starting from 6pm on 25th June. Come to Unit S303 at PMQ and enjoy some bubbly along with some Japanese snacks. The first night of the exhibition will be the best opportunity to see the full range of the incredibly unique works!
