【Bringing out the best flavours from the book!】
For foodies, PMQ Taste Library which houses thousands of food-related books, is like treasure box that filled with continuous food inspirations and surprises. But out of all these books, where should you start with? Don’t worry! PMQ Taste Library will host “Read & Cook” every month, and each time our curator, Andy Lai, will pick one of the best books here and share with all of you!
In this month’s “Read and Cook”, Andy is going to talk about the book, Momofuku, which is also the name of the restaurant group based in New York, owned by the Korean-American chef, David Chang. David excels in creating fusion cuisines and established his first restaurant Momofuku Noodle Bar back in 2004. The restaurant made its name in New York and soon expanded its empire by including restaurants like Momofuku Bakery & Milk Bar, Momofuku Ko and Momofuku Ssäm Bar in various big cities. Andy will introduce the book and replicate one of the dishes from the book: Pork Belly Ssäm! Join us if you would love to taste the dish in person!
