In this workshop, you will make you own sake cup that can hold your sake for a lifetime. With necessary tools and materials, you will be able to apply the hand-forming technique, ‘Kurinuki’ (which involves hollowing a solid clay form to obtain interior space), into your making. It is a slow process and certainly not one for production. However, the pot made with this method is definitely one of a kind.
Once your sake cup is completed, you will have a selection of glaze colours to choose from and it will be fired and glazed. All finished pieces will be ready to pick up in 4 to 5 weeks after the workshop.
