Thrilling car racing fun doesn’t just exist in the virtual world! From 20 to 28 July, PMQ will host an exhilarating kid’s karting championship to fulfil little ones’ small racing dreams. Let each driver pilot their own decorated ride, smashing through the obstacles! During this hot summer break, put away your phones and homework and sweat to the thrill of speed, freely go flat-out on the racetrack. See you at the starting line!

How to attend the PMQ Summer Speedway
From July 20, 2023 (Thursday) until July 28, 2023 (Friday), shoppers who make same-day spending of HK$50 or more in a single transaction from any PMQ shop may be entitled to attend one session of the ‘Make Your Own Kart Design Workshop’ and kart race experience. (Location: G/F, Block B near vending machine)

* The event is only open to children aged 4 to 12 with a height between 0.9 to 1.5m and a weight under 70kg.
* Each eligible receipt is entitled to redeem once only. If you would like to participate again, please provide a separate eligible receipt for redemption.

Make Your Own Kart Design Workshop
Confirmed participants may attend the ‘Make Your Own Kart Design Workshop’ (Location: Room HG10-HG12, G/F, Block B) to create unique designs for their karts.

Get ready at the Preparation Zone
Get ready at the Preparation Zone (Location: SG09-SG14, G/F, Block A) and decorate your kart with your completed design and follow the directions of on-site helpers to join the queue for the race experience. Each kart can only carry one participant, and participants must adhere to the following height, weight and age restrictions.

Get Set Go!
Let’s Start! Up to 3 participants can participate in each round of the racing experience, which has a time limit of 3 minutes. Participants who complete the designated number of laps within the time limit will receive a commemorative medal. All participants will be escorted from the racing tracks by on-site helpers after the racing experience end.

Arrangements During Tropical Cyclones or Rainstorms

The following arrangements will be made for the inclement weather conditions without further notice:

• When the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.1 or the Amber Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force, the activities will continue.
• When the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.3 or above, or the Red / Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued or still in force 2 hours before the activities, the activities will be cancelled.
• When the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal has been changed to No.1 or the Red / Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is no longer in force 2 hours before the activities, the activities will continue.
• When the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.3 or above, or the Red / Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued during the hours of the activities, the activities might continue or be cancelled. All visitors and participants are suggested to stay in safe areas or to leave under safe circumstances.
