Inspired by the fresh new start of the Year of the Goat transitioned from the thorny Year of the Horse, Kaisin custom-designs an 11-metre high goat-shaped art piece made of over ten thousand golden origami horses exquisitely hung by red ribbons. Hand-folded with thousands of sheets of reflective golden foil from Germany, the shiny golden horses symbolize fortune and perfection in the perspective of the Chinese, while the red ribbons as the hanging tools represent happiness and prosperity in the Chinese culture.
Avollusion and Laundromatte (AxO) celebrate the Year of the Goat by sharing with all art aficionados the new media technology “Projection Mapping”, adding an über-modern innovative touch to the classic oriental festive colour. AxO and its team of around 70 tell the audience a creative story of an adventurous journey of a lonesome goat called Scottie. In an attempt to for freedom, Scottie sets out on adventure. However, after experiencing the freezing cold and the sweltering hot, the unexpected peril and the indescribable darkness, Scottie realizes that his grassland home was actually the best of all and returns to the embrace of all his friends.
A 4-metre height Goat Lantern will be displayed on Hollywood Garden that cannot be missed!
An interactive bike installation is coming back again with 12 feet tall Peach Blossom tree set in the middle. Must try item – for getting good luck in Chinese New Year!
