In late September, we kickstart with a series of preheat programmes to welcome coffee newcomers and lovers alike. Begin by exploring the fundamentals of coffee-ware, latte art and coffee brewing, then immerse in the lively atmosphere of the 2023 Aeropress Coffee Championship. From amateur to professional, open your gateway to a deeper relationship with coffee!

PMQ Coffee Agenda takes center stage in mid-October, featuring world-class champions, award-winning baristas and local experts to explore coffee’s endless possibilities. Engage in exclusive experiences like coffee pairings, tastings and industry networking. Discover the latest industry trends and savour the unique artisanal coffee culture of Hong Kong.

Simultaneously, the Hong Kong Barista Championship 2023 will be held for emerging coffee talents and seasoned veterans to compete and strive for excellence, to realise their dreams and continue exceeding limits on stage.

Organised by PMQ Coffee Agenda, this workshop invites beginners to explore the world of specialty coffee through a step-by-step journey. From selecting coffee beans to brewing gear, and practicing cupping and hand-dripped coffee techniques, discover the diverse flavors that coffee beans can create, and make a cup of coffee that is uniquely yours.

2.【 Latte Art Basics for Home Barista 】Workshop

Master the basics of latte art. Be a professional at home.
Beyond beautiful designs, latte art creates rich textures and flavours through the unique combination of coffee and milk. Organised by PMQ Coffee Agenda, the workshop dives into the craft of latte art with an introduction to espresso coffee, as well as the concept and skills behind milk frothing and pouring. After a demonstration of basic techniques, participants are invited to experience creating latte art on their own. This workshop welcomes home baristas who enjoy milk-based coffee and hopes to take their coffee craftsmanship to the next level.
