What did the 17th – 18th Century French aristocrats eat? And what kind of music did they listen to? French Baroque music and food pairing!
< Musician’s Dining Table > returns! An enjoyment of music and gourmet, we will travel to the French castles in the Baroque period from Taste Library… With the live music of d’anglebert, Rameau, Hotteterre and other French composers, you are going to taste the historical French cuisine of the time!
After <18th Century cuisine, Telemann and the Fantasies> last winter, Erikson Ting, guest chef and musician of the Taste Library, and Andre Chan, art curator, are going to bring some historical recipes and music to you! They will play the music, cook some dishes, and share the stories of 17th-18th century France.
The French composers featured will include d’anglebert, Rameau, Hotteterre, Boismortier and etc. To many people in Hong Kong, Baroque music was the impression of German and Italian style. French Baroque will bring you a fresh, romantic and elegant atmosphere. < Musician’s Dining Table > will bring some live music of harpsichord, flute and recorder, accompanied by 3 French dishes of the 17th – 18th century.
