【Let’s talk about funeral food~】
Death seems like a forbidden topic in our culture. Nevertheless, society is changing and life and death education has been promoted widely for the past decade, the general public is more at ease accepting the fact that death is inevitable. Let’s relax and not viewing the topic of death as a taboo, and look at the interesting facts about the funeral food culture about the world in the upcoming Meet & Munch Wednesday!
Taste Library will prepare Bread of Death (Pan de muerto) from Mexico and a dish made of sardine, which is a symbol used in a pseudo-funeral service ceremony, Burial of the Sardine, celebrating the end of a carnival. If you have any interesting stories to share with other members, you are more than welcome to join! Of course, don’t forget to bring some food that’s related to our current theme!
