About “Knit Voyage”

Knitting is a very specific skill being used widely in the international fashion industry. Hong Kong has been famous for this technique for decades. Knitting involves innovation and craftsmanship and is a specialised subject in fashion education. Organised by Knitwear Innovation and Design Society and funded by CreateHK, “Knit Voyage” is a project aims to provide a free platform for young designers to gain exposure and manufacturing support and at the same time promote avant-garde knitwear design and manufacturing skills to the fashion sector and general public.

Project objectives
• To nurture the new generation of knitwear designers
• To promote Hong Kong’s knitwear design and manufacturing capabilities
