Inspired by traditional Chinese pearl jewellery, this workshop teaches participants how to use ancient jewellery techniques to make their own personal silver and pearl bracelet. Jump rings are an important part of jewellery making and are found in many different types of jewellery styles. Participants will learn how to “weave” their own pearl bracelet with jump rings and silver wire. The tutor specialises in pearls and will share her knowledge on the aesthetic and cultural significance of pearls throughout Chinese history.
