About Exhibition

“Habitual diversion of mind 4152″ aims to transform mundane, monotonous trivial matters from a family transformation process into an art installation for spiritual healing. This installation bears witness to breaking free from life’s constraints. Enter a world beyond reality by immersing in the narrative of this creation in evokes acts of exploration and introspection.

Recreating in ceramic reflects its characteristic resilience and symbolizes the transformation experienced in life’s journey. In addition, the darkroom technique used in the photography process, applied to ceramics also adds layers of temporality from experiences to match the temperature of introspection, leaving moments of vulnerability and strength from addiction to escapism. The exploration extends into textile art to create intricacies that convey the complexity of the unstable emotions experienced during this period of change. The textiles, with their inherent softness and comfort, juxtaposed with the intensity of the subject, provide a sense of connection that cannot be seen clearly. Mixed media creates visual representations of the emotional and experiential levels encountered, deeply engaging the narrative.

In essence, practicing the power of art as a means of escape, healing and self-expression, hence audience is invited to embark on a journey of self-discovery, face challenges, and find solace and inspiration in the transformative power through art.
