GIA’s April seminar will provide a detailed introduction into diamonds and what makes them so highly valued. GIA is famous for their 4 C’s (Color, Cut, Clarity and Carat Weight), but that is not the only thing that GIA professionals will teach about this special gemstone. Participants will have the opportunity to learn everything about diamonds, such as that there are colored diamonds as well, and it was only in the Renaissance when diamonds became fashionable for engagement rings. It’s name is derived from the Greek word “”Adamas”" which means “”The Invincible”". This is an appropriate name for a gemstone that has captivated people throughout history, and continues to spellbound the wearer with it’s brilliance and everlasting allure.
