This workshop is inspired by a gnomon– the piece on a sundial that tells the time of the day by the position of the sun in the sky. The face of the bracelet are copper and brass pieces artfully arranged together and accentuated with sterling silver, and the band is made out of leather strips. Participants will learn how to cut, polish, and shape pieces of metal together to create their own unique geometric patterns. At the end of the workshop they will understand the different properties of metal and leather, and learn how to combine the two materials into a one of a kind piece of jewellery.
Finished Product: One brass and copper leather cuff bracelet
* A complimentary $100 Loupe Teahouse cash voucher will be offered per pax for enrolment in this workshop.
