Did you know that in Europe, February means eating crepes and pancakes? In France, 2nd February is called la Chandeleur, or jour des crepes. The French celebrate by, of course, eating crepes but it is also traditional that while you cook your crepe, you hold a coin in one hand and the pan in the other and flip the crepe into the air. If you manage to catch the crepe in your pan your family will be prosperous for the rest of the year !
