How much do you know about the century-old culinary culture in Central and Sheung Wan?
What are the differences between “restaurants” and “tea houses”?
If learning culinary history makes you drowsy, why not learn by sharing? Let’s sit together, have some tea, and enjoy a pastry!
There are many renowned tourists who must-visit restaurants in the Central and Sheung Wan area. But some of them have gradually lost their connection with the local community over the years. Knowing the stories behind them may provide a different perspective on the local culinary culture.
One of the authors of “Hong Kong Food Trail,” Mr. Wong Ka Leung, will be the storyteller, together with the host, Michael Lui, they will chat about the anecdotes and tales of the culinary scene in Central and Sheung Wan. Also share a hidden food map and indulge in tasting various pastries and snacks.
