It is such a warm picture that a group of friends and family members team up just to co-create a piece of furniture. The perk of homemade coffee table is to connect people around a sofa, sharing the making-of story behind this unique masterpiece with excitement. Not flawlessly and appealingly attractive, this piece of homemade furniture is subtlety playing the role of uniting human relationship.
Themed as “Upcycling”, this carpentery workshop will bring you an unique experience of uplifting the possibility of wastage, using Plywood as the material. Thus, we have invited an experienced lecturers from Design School THEi, Ms. Tris Kee and Mr. Nicholas Kwok, to share knowledge on simple carpentry, joinery technique, interior design concepts and hands-on experience on furniture making, with down-to-earth terminology, for anyone interested in furniture making without prior experience. Upon completion of the workshop, the team is also welcomed to take their co-created pieces home to spread the joyfulness around.
Date your best friends or family and form a team of carpenters-to-be now!
