The workshop starts with an introduction to the concept of deconstruction in contemporary art and jewellery. Like Re-attach’s signature deconstructive jewellery, participants will discover a whole new meaning to functional jewellery components when they turn them into accessories. The designer from Re-attach will teach participants to make contemporary jewellery with unconventional materials. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to encase a selection of jewellery components such as earring hooks and rhinestones with resin, and creatively turning them into a contemporary jewellery piece.
