We tell our stories through witty graphics – to remind people of good times, to always be relatable and inclusive, to encourage, and to bring communities together!

Designer and illustrator Cynthia Mak started her first collection in her tiny home as a side project back in 2014. Having partnered with a good friend and knitwear specialist Xiao Xiao, they launched CYNTHIA & XIAO and set up a small team in Beijing. CYNTHIA & XIAO eventually grew into a fashion brand offering full-range collections showing across international fashion platforms. It was named a finalist in Vogue Talents for Asia and a semi-finalist for the International Woolmark Prize. In 2020, Cynthia returned to her love for graphics and illustrations, spending more time experimenting and playing with new designs, because that’s always been her passion.
