This workshop aims to provide students with more knowledge of techniques used in gem setting and have a better under standing of materials used for jewellery. Basic knowledge of gemstones such as Morganite, Blue Topaz and Cubic Zirconia will be taught. The tutor will also introduce center stone setting, round brilliant cut stone setting, and oval faceted cut setting. The tutor will provide each participant with a cubic zirconia, and one blue topaz or morganite to set their ring and pendant. They will leave with a better knowledge and appreciation for traditional jewellery making and gemstone setting.

Finished Product: One cubic zirconia ring, and a choice of one blue topaz or one morganite pendant.
