Creative Tricks for a Treat
Halloween is fast approaching. Have you planned your Halloween activities yet? While most people focusing on decorating with pumpkins, sourcing horrible costumes and most importantly planning ‘trick or treat’ to friends and neighbours, why not turning all your tricks into treats! Whether you’re big or small, there are plenty of creative tricks to be found in Creative Workshop Series @PMQ to treat yourself and your loved one and keep the mean spirits away.
Once again, Man Made Chan Pei, a local brand that focuses on handcrafted paper art, is throwing a Festive Limited Pumpkin Lantern Workshop in PMQ. You will learn to make a 3D paper art pumpkin lantern from the well-prepared laser-cut materials. You can also choose your favourite characters from Halloween paper sets and pumpkin face style. A simple and fun workshop for kids and adults to enjoy.
POMCH is relaunching the 3D Pattern Forming Workshop at the spookiest time of the year. With the design concept of industrial essentials and dark tone, you can make a unique dark-themed cardholder, phone bag or handbag with your own objects to treat your friends. How can one join a party without a fancy clutch? Make your own clutch and customize your own statement on it at DIY Clutch Bag by Cecilia Ma to complete your party look and show your personality. For children, MakerBay is hosting a special Curiosity Kids Science Classes – Halloween Slime in October. Children can make their own slime even better with a Halloween theme! It is fun and educational at the same time as they could learn and understand the science behind making slime.
Creative Workshop Series @PMQ regularly features and brings special workshops that are not commonly found in Hong Kong. There are more than 40 creative workshops across different fields hosted by a group of creative talents in PMQ and also a series of pop-up workshops from time to time for you to choose from. Make sure you check out the full list of workshops and time your visit to PMQ for a creative encounter!
