Portland may not be a popular travel destination for most Hongkongers, but for many Americans, the city is definitely on the must-go list when seeking for great bites. Located in the U.S. state of Oregon, Portland is a city well known as a hipster heaven and the home to a large population of young creatives. The city is even named “Silicon Forest” since a large amount of technology companies is based in Portland that is geographically close to the woods.
Visitors are fascinated by the city’s hipster atmosphere and its flourishing food scene. One of them includes Mr Craig Au-yeung Ying Chai, curator of PMQ Taste Library. In the coming session of “Craig’s Nomadic Kitchen”, Craig will talk about his trip to Portland, including his stay at the fashionable Ace Hotel and a visit to the famous Bridgeport Brewing Company. He and Andy will also make Reuben Sandwich for participants to taste. Find out more about Portland’s irresistible charm by joining “Craig’s Nomadic Kitchen” this November!
