Donald Judd was an American artist who made his name in the arts world since the 1960s for creating large-scale sculptures in clear, strong lines that played with spaces and materials. Fascinated by Judd’s works since studying at school, Mr Craig Au-yeung Ying Chai, curator of PMQ Taste Library and a cartoon artist, recently visited the artist’s former residence in Marfa, Texas, where Judd spent the last 20 years of his life in. There Craig immersed himself in Judd’s art and vision through taking close looks at his working and private living spaces, as well as some prototypes of his works.

The coming session of Craig’s Nomadic Kitchen is exactly about this fascinating trip to Marfa, the influential artist and the food culture in Texas.
