Craig’s Nomadic Kitchen returns this December with an introduction to “community malls” in Bangkok, Thailand. Mr Craig Au-yeung Ying Chai, curator of PMQ Taste Library, is going to talk about his visit to these malls. One of them is called theCOMMONS at Thonglor, Bangkok. theCOMMONS is no ordinary shopping mall like those filled with large chainstores or luxury brands in Hong Kong. It was meant to be built as a physical space to gather creative minds, and more importantly, as a community to engage people with wholesome living and the nature. Inside theCOMMONS you will find a number of great restaurants and unique stores. There are also plenty of events and workshops running throughout the year to gather people with different passions and interests. Deeply intrigued by the architectural design and concept of theCOMMONS, Craig will touch on more about his experience visiting this community mall in the coming session of Craig’s Nomadic Kitchen. He will also prepare a delicious dish for participants to taste. If you are interested to know more about theCOMMONS, join us on 23 December at PMQ Taste Library!
