Happy new year, everyone! Mr Craig Au-yeung Ying Chai, curator of PMQ Taste Library is going to host the first session of Craig’s Nomadic Kitchen in 2019 on January 12, sharing his recent visit to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province. During his stay in Sichuan, he attended his book launch event, tried out some local specialties and went to the home of Li Bai, one of the most important figure of the Tang dynasty poetry. The highlight of his trip is definitely about his dining experience at THE BRIDGE, a new restaurant run by the renowned Taiwanese chef André Chiang, that serves Sichuan cuisine with a modern twist. Apart from the sharing, Craig will prepare Dandan noodles, a traditional spicy noodle dish originated from the region. For those who are interested in learning more about the signature dishes served at THE BRIDGE or Chengdu’s local specialties, come join us on January 12 to enjoy the taste of Sichuan with Craig!
