Everyone loves to find that perfect place to hold all their treasured keepsakes. This workshop will introduce participants to metalsmithing to create their own jewellery box. Ready-made textured pieces are provided to create unique patterns on the box’s lid. The tutor is a professional goldsmith jeweller, and will share these skills with participants to have a hands on experience with jewellery making. They will also learn how to use a rolling mill, filing, sawing, and basic soldering techniques to create the box shape. The class will take place on workbenches.
