Loupe presents AudioWear a series of musical porcelain jewellery created by designers collective Elasticbrand (Christie Wright and Arjen Noordeman). The AudioWear collection is inspired by idiophone, aerophone instruments and the acoustic quality of clay. Christie and Arjen created AudioWear specifically for the combination of 3D modeling with ceramic reproduction techniques. The designers produced the works with the support and the use of the 3D printing facilities of the European Ceremic Work Centre (The Netherlands).

The AudioWear collection includes a Trumpet bracelet, a Guiro cuff, a Whistle charm necklace, a Pan-flute collar, a Rattle bracelet and Xylophone bangles. Elasticbrand created a process video that will be on show in the exhibition, including music composed by Skooby Laposky from sounds produced by the AudioWear jewellery.

AudioWear is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Arts and Design in New York (MAD).
