Warm your soul this winter and step into Alfie’s wondrous world as he brings you along for a very special Bookmas! Transport yourself through the magic of books and follow Alfie’s journey through four curated themes – “Winter is Coming”, “Alfie’s Preparation”, “Party Time!” and “The Little Note”.

Alfie’s Bookmas is a bilingual Christmas-themed picture book exhibition that will bring you the joy of Christmas through the magic of literacy, language, and connection. Brought to you by Not Your Usual Education and Reading Seed with the common belief that Christmas is a time for sharing and gathering together, we hope to create an environment where the public can do exactly that, through reading.

Our children’s workshops also show that reading doesn’t have to be a quiet, individual activity – it can be shared in different forms and mediums, whether it’s drama, craft or writing. So whether you want to sit and back relax with a good book, or get crafty with us, we’ve got something for everyone.
