Aberdeen Street Social’s upstairs restaurant will get into the Christmas spirit from the 1st of December with a festively themed lunch menu which will run for the duration of the month. Guests can enjoy traditional wintery British dishes such as the Slow cooked duck leg, red cabbage, burnt apple puree, hazelnuts and the Roasted poussin with chestnuts, bacon, and cabbage ($238 for 2 courses, $288 for 3 courses).
In the spirit of the giving season, Aberdeen Street Social will begin celebrating the holidays early by serving complimentary mulled wine for all guests during the two weeks leading up to Christmas. Deliciously fiery and aromatic, Bar Manager Audrey Eschemann’s mulled wine is a treat that will warm the cockles. Guests can also get merry with the Fisherman’s Winter Grog ($128), a festive cocktail served throughout the month of December.
With its relaxed atmosphere and intimate setting, Aberdeen Street Social provides the perfect ingredients for a lively, sumptuous Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner with friends and family. Festive season special dishes on the menu include Loin of venison, salt baked beetroot, pickled pear, red cabbage, earl gray tea and date puree ($368) and Roasted cod, with clams white beans, Lincolnshire sausage, baby onions, cabbage pesto ($328).
Celebrate the New Year in style at Aberdeen Street Social with an 8-course New Year’s Eve menu specially created by Head Chef Chris Whitmore. Guests can experience his creative cooking techniques in dishes such as Hokkaido scallops with artichoke juice and sea vegetables, Chocolate tea roasted quail, banana polenta, truffle bolognaise and Carrot cake, yuzu curd, Cream cheese frosting, pecan and ginger meringue ($500 advance booking fee; $800 minimum spend).
