Fashion Curator (Contract)

Our Expectations and Your Responsibilities

  1. Report to the project director, to curate, execute and coordinate events, exhibitions, conferences and other creative activities related to a digital fashion project in Hong Kong.
  2. Responsible for the overall creative and art direction for the project, develop the project’s leading role for innovation and excellence within the fashion community, nationally and internationally; ensuring this digital fashion programme celebrates and attracts diversity in its many forms.
  3. Responsible for the overall fashion designers / co-creators relationship and ensure the quality of creation are up to standard
  4. Leading the project team to work closely with designers, supporting organisations, event planners and different production teams for a well thought planning and smooth execution of concerned events and programmes.
  5. Working closely with the PR and Social Media firms, fashion media, KOLs and fashion influencers to roll out the strategic PR & marketing initiatives. The fashion curator will also work with fashion buyers and event management to work out the run-down for the media presentation.
  6. To ensure timely planning, preparation and implementation of activities to achieve the respective goals within the given schedule and resources.
  7. Irregular working hours required.

Experiences & Qualities

  1. 8-10 years of working experience, in which having at least 3 years at the managerial level, in fashion curation, planning and execution of events and exhibitions. Past working experience in the fashion, creative, fashion, art or cultural fields or projects would be an advantage.
  2. Self-motivated as both a team leader and team player in a small but passionate and energetic team.
  3. Good communication skills and be able to establish good relationship with different stakeholders. Be open-minded, flexible and sensible in dealing with different people with diversified backgrounds and cultures.
  4. Resourceful network of vendors, KOLs, contractors and production houses; and ideally having good connection with fashion designers, fashion medias, fashion brands and fashion buyers.
  5. Passionate in fashion, design, arts & culture.

Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
