Designers’s Background

Slow Sunday is a collaboration by Loveless Knots and Makie Mori, the founders are fashion designers Rachel Chan and Makie Chang. Rachel loves weaving, to her, the creative process of handmade has a meditative quality. Her work is largely inspired by bohemian culture and spiritual journey. Makie is an indigo artist based in Hong Kong. She believes in natural, organic creation of artwork and appreciate imperfection by embracing Wabi Sabi aesthetics. She uses sustainably sourced materials and eco-friendly techniques wherever possible.
