Featured Highlights
RidiculouSneakers

In KC’s view, sneakers are more than just footwear; they are a universal symbol that bridges the gap between “high-fashion enthusiasts” and “casual wearers.” They provide a unique sense of emotional and physical comfort, serving as a common ground in our diverse society. KC raises an intriguing question: “While many may believe that owning a car or property is a true reflection of one’s social or financial status, is it true that every individual in society possesses either?” The answer is a resounding “NO!”

Sneakers are a shared item owned by a vast majority, which is why KC aims to capture the essence of societal reality and express individuals’ statuses through the lens of sneakers. His works have been showcased across Asia and featured in various social media platforms and magazines.

Original Fake

The idea behind creating a new look for the sneaker was to make them even more ugly, perhaps by emphasizing their low-quality nature and even extending to some twisted aspects, making it slightly unsettling for viewers. The work does not intentionally reveal its source, but instead hopes that the audience can directly perceive the feelings it conveys through its appearance. Compared to previous works, “Original Fake” may add a touch of humor.
