Following last year’s “SUMUK: Dream of Eastern Ink Painting”" exhibition, this year, KCC also partnered with the Hong Kong Modern Ink Painting Society in order to deepen cultural exchange between Hong Kong and Korea.

The exhibition aims to promote new discourses on the art form by featuring 30 artists from Korea and Hong Kong whose works showcase the depth and wide variety of ink painting. Through the cultural exchange in this exhibition, we hope to lead a resurgence of sumuk and highlight the vitality of sumuk painters in Korea and Hong Kong.
