About Exhibition

This exhibition documents some of the performance art works by artist Mandy Ma in the past three years. Every performance seems to her like a practice, a kind of self-salvation. At the moment of doing performances, the events and traces are marked at the place and the witnesses become a tangible and invisible record of the performances and the thoughts spread by the artist. Through images, fragments and videos, the artist presents the state at the previous performances and events so as to examine and respond to the changes in herself and the surroundings.
