Hong Kong, 26th August 2024 — Verano Promotions is excited to announce a highly anticipated boxing event set to take place on 28 September 2024. This marks an exciting return of a professional boxing event in Hong Kong in an external venue, offering a significant opportunity for local fighters to showcase their talents on home turf.

The highlight of the evening will be the headline bout featuring Saagar Pradhan as he contends for the WBO Asia Pacific Youth Title Championship against opponent Bunchuai Phosungnoen. This match will be the first boxing title fight in Hong Kong since 2019.

In addition to the main event, the co-main bout will showcase WIBA Champion Sheau Ru Yang as she faces off against Thai national amateur champion Pornnapus Katipatee. This will be an exciting match between two skilled female fighters.

The event will also include a total of nine bouts, made up of three amateur matches and six professional fights. The professional card will feature international fighters from China, the Philippines, and Thailand, a diverse line-up for boxing enthusiasts. See fight card attached for full match line-up.

The event will be hosted at PMQ Qube. General Admission tickets are priced at HKD 875, non-ring side tickets and ringside tables at HKD 23000 and HKD 25000 respectively. Tables will include drinks, food, and other special event incentives. Tickets can be purchased directly from Verano Boxing Club.
