SUMUK: Dream of Eastern Ink Painting jointly presented by Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong and JeollaNamdo will be held from today to 31 July 2018 in Multipurpose Hall of Korean Cultural Center. It brings together 50 masterpieces from 29 renowned Korean contemporary artists.
During the exhibition, two Korean artists Lee In and Kim Eok will come to Hong Kong in late July to bring Hong Kong public a series of free workshops to experience woodcut and ink painting. “2018 Jeonnam International SUMUK Biennale” will be held in Mokpo and Jindo for two months from 1 September to 31 October 2018, exhibiting more than 250 art pieces by artists from over 10 counties and regions. Three Hong Kong contemporary artists are invited to participate in the international artist residence programme in Korea.
