Get ready for a creative Christmas and get stuck on joy! PMQ and local creative units will come together and explore the possibilities that lie in original brand mt masking tape.

Among the highlights is the urban intervention and art installation “Colourscape” – a collaboration between PMQ and LAAB Architects, an art & architecture firm. The installation will blanket the 10,000 sq.ft. courtyard and marketplace of PMQ with multicoloured mt tapes weaved in classic patterns learning from the modern movement. Arch and tube objects with mirror surface will project curvilinear reflections of the vibrant colour pattern creating an unique picturesque experience, bringing joy to everyone.

In addition, the exhibition has five more unique sections: “Happy Home”, “Hong Kong’s Roads and Alleys”, “Films”, “Photography” and “When PMQ Met mt Tape”. Come see Hong Kong creativity at its very best.

Eight creativity workshops in two categories: Trial workshops & Masking Tape Lovers workshops, are ready during the exhibition period. Tutors including fashion accessory designer Zoe Siu, US-certified Zentangle instructor Enta Cheng, and various washi paper masking tape artists, cheche, MG and Kudig handmade hair accessories, are invited to teach us the myriad of ways to create or decorate with mt tape. mt masking tape Sales & Display Zone: Marketplace, G/F (11:00 – 20:00)
SUP Publishing Logistics (HK) Limited will set up an mt masking tape sales and display area at PMQ, with more than 500 kinds of masking tapes of different colours and patterns as well as over 100 types of discontinued models from Japan and the series of collaborating with brands and artists who are loved worldwide on display for the public to appreciate and purchase.
