We live in times of picture culture. We communicate using emoticons. When looking for exit, we are guided by pictograms. Despite the fact we are surrounded by pictures and emoticons every day, we rarely decide to create visual messages ourselves.

During the workshops the ‘symbol posters’, you will design posters which will be a visual information for the world. Workshops will be preceded by a short presentation about the Polish poster school and the role of symbols in the poster. The Design Duo Kaja and Piotr Depta-Kleśta will guide you through the design process. They will discuss the workshop topic together with you, and work with you to create the graphic “mind maps”. They will help you to transfer your own unique idea from a sketch into a Poster design.

Posters will be created using the stencil method.
