As autumn arrives, it’s not only a time to gather with friends and family for festive celebrations, but also the best opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities in the cool breeze! Starting on September 16, PMQ will launch the “PING PONG aRound Autumn” campaign, welcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and Halloween with a jolly spirit. Hong Kong creator Cynthia Mak has designed a series of hand-painted table tennis sets for PMQ, and PMQ will bring in a large inflatable installation of ping pong ball, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in this creative and fun game world!

Creative Design x Sports: Cynthia Mak creates colorful ping pong sets
Hong Kong creator Cynthia Mak is always on a mission to spread joy and love through her art. In this project, she designed a series of hand-painted ping pong sets for PMQ to showcase her iconic bold and colorful geometric style, including hand-painted ping pong tables, rackets, scoreboard, and uniquely styled chairs, creating a vibrant and colorful ping pong paradise. The ping pong tables will be on display and open for use at PMQ Marketplace. Visitors can borrow table tennis rackets for free at the Info Centre, with a suggested game time of 15 minutes.

**The use of ping pong tables may be temporarily suspended due to other events at venue without prior notice.

During the campaign, visitors who leave a 5-star review for PMQ on “Google Review” or “DianPing” – you will receive a complimentary ping pong paddle fan designed by Cynthia Mak. Limited quantities available, come and get yours!

Redemption period: Starting from September 26
How to redeem: Present the 5-star page on your phone to the staff at the G/F Info Centre in Block A.

Giant inflatable ping pong ball installation arrives as surprise
In addition to the colourful ping pong tables, the Courtyard features a large inflatable ping pong ball installation that is full of playful elements. The colours of balloons inside the giant ball are inspired by Cynthia’s colour scheme, with vibrant hues that not only echo her creative theme but also inject abundant energy into the venue. The installation stands at 2.4 meters tall. As night falls, the lights surrounding the installation grow, resembling a lively full moon from a distance, adorning PMQ.

Photo-taking challenge – win a luxury hotel stay experience
Simply take a photo with Cynthia’s ping pong table or the inflatable ping pong ball installation, share it on social media (account must be public), and register to become a Marriott Bonvoy member to qualify, whoever gets the most likes with their photo will win a one-night stay at a hotel sponsored by Marriott Bonvoy.

Paint your own ping pong balls
Visitors who wish to showcase their creativity can redeem a ping pong ball for free at the Info Centre by presenting their purchase receipt from any PMQ shops or restaurants. Freely express your creativity on the ping pong ball, you can keep the painted ball for yourself or swap it with other participants, sending blessings to those you feel connected with.

October highlight – Hallo-Beer Pong Night
From October 18 to 31, PMQ will launch “Hallo-Beer Pong Night” – simply dine at any of the restaurants in PMQ during the evening hours to receive cups and ping pong balls, and head to the Marketplace to enjoy a Beer Pong game with friends.
