Orae(오래) means ‘long-term’ in Korean. Orae Project, directed by LEE Dongju, is a series of 2-7 minutes documentary films that introduce masters(匠人) who have been doing the same work in the same place for a long time in Seoul, Korea.
Korean Cultural Center is presenting 17 films and the still photographs of each episode on the 7/F, and the multimedia room.
Director LEE was invited to Korean Cultural Center in January 2020. The project is awarded in the third ‘O Creative League’ held by the Creative Center for Convergence Culture in 2016 and the fourth ‘Korea Communications Agency Contents Creator’s League’ in 2017. Moreover, the ‘Orae Project Youth’ was sponsored by Seoul Youth Film Production and the series was screened at CGV Korea in 2017.
