Waka Artisans is pleased to announce a Japanese Ceramic & Art Exhibition featuring the works of Tamako Ito and Katsuaki Shigeno. Coming from an incredibly well respected lineage of ceramicists, Ito’s works clearly show her depth of understanding for using clay and unique glazes. As both a painter and a printmaker, Shigeno has created prints and print based works with various printing disciplines and different materials. The exhibition will open on 1 September 2017 until 10 September 2017.

To celebrate the opening of our art exhibition, we will be hosting a drinks party at Waka Artisans on 1 September, from 6-9 pm.

Come to Unit S303 and enjoy some bubbly along with some Japanese snacks. The first night of the exhibition will be the best opportunity to see the full range of their incredibly unique works so don’t miss the opportunity to join this event!
