On 22nd of January 2016, it will be the commencement of the exclusive Qipao exhibition “Modern Oriental Beauty” partnered with Hong Kong Design Institute inside Loom Loop’s store in PMQ, Central.

Qipao has always been a representation of the Chinese heritage and the oriental culture; classic and feminine. Overwhelmed with the Western culture, the Chinese aesthetics and philosophy have been forgotten.

Aiming at presenting the historic, traditional asset of Qipao with a modern approach, and re-introducing the heritage in the modern society; the exhibition will adapt a contemporary way of styling Qipao and showcase 4 of our exquisite Qipaos designed by Polly Ho and Andy Wong, the co-founders and designers of Loom Loop.
