Are you a changemaker? On the 12th and 13th of May 2018, You are invited to join in a hotbed of discussion, debate, activism and action. Presenting LUSH Live Central, a green charitable event where changemakers gather to exchange thoughts on what we all care about, from campaigners to grassroots voices.

Event Details:
1. Soap Box Stage
Soap Box is the place for everyone to speak, share and inspire. Join us for a series of rising speeches, with an inclusive lineup of campaigners, activists, and people just like me and you.

2. The Human Rights Space
Take time to learn about refugee issues in Hong Kong and enjoy the ambiance of this colourful exhibition space exploring LGBT+ rights and wrongs around the world. Be inspired by campaigners and communities fighting for equality in Hong Kong.

3. The Environment Space
Environmental issues increasingly look set to determine our present and our future. Explore a range of pressing environmental issues, including illegal logging, plastic waste, ocean pollution, shark finning, overfishing, and much more.

4. The Animal Rights Space
Animals are voiceless and the ways they are used and suffer are unseen. The work of all of the people in this room gives voice to the unheard and directs the eyes of the public to the unseen. Talk to them and learn about the cruel facts behind animal farms, animal shows and the so-called high fashioned fur.

5. LUSH Workshops
Be ready to get your hands dirty as you get to know about the behind-the-scene of LUSH. Get hands on experience in planting herbs in a LUSH black pot, making fresh handmade cosmetics and delicious vegan treats. Learn upcycling tricks, turn food waste and old t-shirts into valuable products again!

6. Herbivore Cafe
Vegan is the new black. Try out vegan hotdogs and wellness drinks presented by Habitū Hong Kong, and don’t forget to grab a delicious coconut dessert surrounded by juicy fresh fruits later on from SO COCO. Your impression on vegan gastronomy will be changed forever.

You are highly encouraged to bring in your own bottle as UrbanSpring will be providing free water for all. But don’t worry if you don’t have one yet. Simply rent one from their water station!
