Mentor: Mr. Cheung Hin Chi (Uncle Chi)
To the children in Chinese society, the most popular festival must be Chinese New Year! This is the very crucial time for them to make their dreams come true: As they could receive the red pockets from their relatives, they could save enough money to purchase their favourite toys that have been craving for! In the New Year, Uncle Chi will bring us back to the good old days, by showcasing how to make a traditional saving box.
Making a saving box is never as simple as it appears. It requires the maker to be nimble and detail-oriented in every single step, including folding, punching and hammering. Are you ready to be an apprentice, and take a journey to the past? Come and join us!
