We are hosting the first Hong Kong screening of the beautiful documentary, ‘A Way of Life’ created by talented film makers, Adrian Lo and Tian Ji. Following this we will be having a Christmas party where we will be serving sake.
The handmade pottery of Kasama and Mashiko regions in Japan is some of the world’s most beautiful and sought-after. The potters who create these magnificent works spend decades refining their craft – throwing, molding, glazing and firing – in the rural countryside.
This short documentary reveals the passion and skill of eleven such potters. Their determination, inspiration, and creativity comes from a deep understanding of what exactly is the true craft of pottery.
Hong Kong based British filmmakers Tian Macleod Ji and Adrian Lo were recently awarded an official selection for their film A Way of Life, which was selected out of 1300+ global entrants, to screen at the prestigious London Lift-Off Film Festival, the season finale of the Lift-Off Calendar held in Soho Central London.
Do not miss the opportunity to see this masterpiece. We will also be having a Christmas party to celebrate – everyone is welcome!
