“Can you make a living out of drawings?”

Many have asked the same question, including the illustrator Wai Wai.

She has always dreamed to be a painter since she was young. In 2016, she resigned from her graphic designer job and held the first solo exhibition of her illustrations about Hong Kong small shops. She then continued to paint and draw over the next four years. Not only was she able to make a living, but she has also learned a lot more about the different sides of Hong Kong. It is like a dream to her to have developed a better self in career and life.
